Every year our company gives a custom bag to employees who are celebrating a milestone anniversary with Gemline, and I was challenged to design a unique backpack that works for anyone and everyone whether they're commuting into the office or headed off on a weekend getaway.

We were excited by verdant hues we had seen throughout our trend research and decided to pursue a 'Sage' colorway. With a tonal execution it was on-trend and in a toned-down saturation was neutral enough to have mass appeal.

To make this bag as versatile as possible, we wanted to provide a wide array of functional features that the user could adapt to their particular carry needs. It should feel thoughtful and intentional, but not overly prescriptive. 

To add to the functionality of the bag and really make it feel special, we created accessory pieces that could be seamlessly integrated into your EDC and expand the capabilities of this backpack.
